What We Believe

 

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He lived a perfect, sinless life, died on a cross as a substitute for the sins of mankind, arose bodily from the dead on the third day, and is living today at the right hand of God.

 

The Way to Heaven

Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven; Christ gives eternal life as a free gift to all who believe in Him; eternal life cannot be earned by good works; it is by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ - plus nothing, minus nothing.

 

The Holy Bible

The Holy Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God and is complete, finished, and entirely without error.

 

Creation

The Genesis account of creation is to be accepted literally. Man was created in the image and likeness of God by God directly and not through evolutionary chance or cosmic accident.

 

The Church

The church is a local assembly of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, baptized by immersion.

 

The Great Commission

Believers are commanded to reach the lost with the Gospel through personal testimony and missions through the local church.

 

The End Times

Jesus Christ will come for His followers before God pours out His wrath on mankind during the period of time called the tribulation. After the tribulation, Jesus Christ will return physically to the earth to set up His kingdom for 1000 years.
