World Missions

At Texas Avenue Baptist Church, we are passionate about fulfilling the Great Commission. Our passion for world missions is demonstrated by the following facts:

• Approximately 1/3 of our total budget is used for World Missions;

• We currently support over 80 Missionary families and projects on over 40 different fields;

• We provide frequent opportunities to interact with visiting Missionaries;

• We have given over $1,000,000 in the last ten years to reach the lost with the Gospel.

Missionaries are invited to our services regularly throughout the year so that we can get to know them and share in their burdens to reach their respective people groups.

The most important event on our church calendar is our annual Faith-Promise Missions Conference in the fall. Several Missionary families are invited to spend a few days with us to encourage and challenge us to fulfill the Great Commission by going and giving. The conference is highlighted by our annual Faith-Promise commitments by which we promise by faith to give regularly to the support of world missions.
